“The only issue I had is we actually rented another house from this owner and a month before the tournament they told us they were taking it out of the rental for a couple of months. The other house had a bathroom for each couple, which is what I like when I take my girls and their husbands.But the owner gave us the option of this property and it was fine. I personally don’t think they should be allowed to change the reservation so close to the date we were going.”

“We have stayed in Sara’s Shacks before so we weren’t concerned. Unfortunately we should have been concerned. We arrived after dark. Once I got into the house to turn the outside lights on, we found that the front porch light was burnt out and the back porch lighting was very poor. I messaged Sara about the front porch light and she messaged back immediately “I’ll send someone over to change the front porch light, sorry about that.”The next night we came back and no light. I messaged Sara “Again……

“House had lovely porches but they were covered in debris and cushions were dirty. Kitchen was well stocked. Floors could have been a bit cleaner. Great location in a cute town.”

“A unique experience but not worth. It’s no way close to lake, needs good clean and pest control to remove spider webs found on dishes, desk, bed frames etc.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Restful Retreat! We loved how they had everything labeled so you don’t have to go looking for things. The bed was really comfortable, my husband said it was his best nights sleep he’s had in a year! Kim sent us messages checking in on us to see if there’s anything we needed. It was convenient to Winthrop University and within walking distance to a nice Veterens Garden. It’s also close to restaurants, grocery store. We would stay here again!”
