“What a charming place. I just loved it! It is a dream! Lots of green areas, parking is a plus, the place is ancient, but is very well kept! The outside is so charming. The room was like... going back in time! So charming! The room had air conditioning, and the bathroom is great, quite new. Staff is extremely friendly. We had dinner there one night and food is fantastic. Their Chianti wine is so good! And the best was when I was leaving and Signore Antonio spend some precious minutes chatting……

“We left the train station in Lucca, put in the address of La Luna and had a wonderful short walk, less than a mile into the town of Lucca and to the Hotel La Luna. We were greeted by hotel staff who quickly got us into our rooms, two couples-two rooms. The rooms were nice and would be considered average. The highlight of the hotel is the morning breakfast (included in the fee), an attached bar and lounge and directly across the street, about 60 feet, a very nice restaurant. Please note that……

La camera è spaziosa abbastanza per la tipologia di albergo. Una colazione ricca e scelta tra salato e dolce. Ma sopratutto è da menzionare la gentilezza e la cortesia di tutto il personale. “Very spacious room and bathroom, very clean and very quiet. The room had an A/C unit and this was the heater too. There was a communal kitchen free to use which had coffee machine and hot water for making a tea and there was a fridge in there. The rooms are on the third floor and the rear of the property overlooks the old amphitheater which is now a square with a few restaurants. There are a number of shops and other places to eat within a very short walk. The bus station was a comfortable 15……

“The room is big, clean and well-equipped. The tiny garden just outside breakfast area is beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast is simple but fresh. Staff are nice and helpful on giving information and advice, e.g. Elena is hard-working and problem-solving. Manuela cooks for guests' breakfast. Paolo drove me to the train station when he saw my big luggage and knew that my backbond suffered from pain. This hotel is not in the very center of Lucca but still convenient enough, as the old town which is……
