Come on in and imagine the sound of 'loons' off in the distance just before sunset. The sound of the Bald Eagle just before it breaks the surface of the water catching its final meal of the day. As the sun sets, there is a tower of orange light glowing above the mountain and reflecting off that describes my first night on Fish Lake and the one I will always remember. This rustic cabin blends so well with the magical setting and is a delightful place to relax and unwind. It will take you back in time to recall days of leisure while on summer vacation at Grandpa's cabin.

Bring your special someone, a game or two, hiking boots and experience some the time to recharge your batteries and discover something new about the one you bring with you, without any distractions from whence you came. If you really need some TV time, there is a flat screen TV w/DVD player for some movie watching. There are steep steps (like a ships ladder) to the loft overlooking the lake with a queen bed. If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground, you can enjoy a remarkably cozy queen sofa sleeper (bedding available upon request).

For added enjoyment you will find a Duraflame log to enhance the cozy. It is a very soothing way to spend your evening. (More available at the local stores or grab some on the way) There is a hammock by the lake that is a perfect place to catch up on some reading or that nap you have wanted to take.

Doc Roy’s Legacy is a well-loved little cabin in the woods, on the lake and just a short trip back in time, we hope you will find this cabin as peaceful and enjoyable as we do.

There are no vehicle restrictions on vehicle types for spring/summer/fall for cabin access. Winter guests please see cautionary notes below:

Winter Restrictions will apply as guests will need 4WD or an AWD vehicle and we suggest carrying chains. Boot chains are also recommended for winter guests for ease of hiking up/down to the cabin in the snow./ice.

Located at a dead end of a cul de sac, the space is marked accordingly for one vehicle. We ask that guests pull up into the parking space horizontally with the cabin. Guests will need to hike down to the cabin about 20 yards.

While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. We are subject to the subcontractor and the Chelan County plows who service this driveway and our county roads so please pack your patience along with following the recommendations below if you choose to book.
