“Excellent location for family get-together & birthday party. The host (Fiona) was extremely helpful & pub staff provided really great service & friendly too. Pub Food was excellent 100% accurate for such a large party. The accommodation is a little quirky, but exactly as expected given it’s within a 16th century property. Great that they also have a (convenience) shop on site given that the local store is now permanently closed.”

“We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. ”

The pool and hot tub were perfect both having water at the right temperature for us.We were blessed with plenty of sunshine on days 2 & 3 of our 3 day break towards the end of November and enjoyed great walks.The cottage is very well equipped and had everything we needed, very much a 5 star stay.”
