“Lovely warm cottage, clean and modern. Well equipped and a great welcome pack . Plenty of space for my 2 dogs to run around and explore. They especially loved the streamSpending time in the summer house after a long days walking was an added bonusVery friendly owner who greeted us on our arrival. “This property may have been okay for an overnight or maybe two but lacked a lot of the necessities needed for period of time. Shower was a challenge. Unable to communicate with the host do to a country cell phone difference. No WiFi, etc…”

“We had a wonderful stay at Kitty’s cottage. The cottage is so homely and feels really welcoming. It’s lovely and warm, even when the weather outside was freezing. It was super clean and very well equipped. We loved walking on the beach, which is only moments away, with such beautiful views. Driving over Galloway forest park, we stopped to feed the goats and deer, which was wonderful. You need to take your own carrots or other fruit / veg to feed them. Galloway forest is also a dark skies……

“We really enjoyed our stay. Apartment had all we needed. It was really spacious and beds were extremely comfortable. Showers were fantastic. Security was second to none as Donald Trump was staying next door the weekend we stayed! Was fun to watch his motorcade go by the end of the road. Even had drones flying over and reporters doing live broadcasts on the lawn on the front of the development. Will definitely be back but don’t think Donald will be here next time.”

“This was a great find for our party of 6 and in an excellent location in Girvan. The accommodation was wonderful with well furnished spacious rooms and the kitchen was well equipped. Lovely area for walking and for golf. The only slight negative were the mattresses which could have been firmer.”

“Although rurally located (this is Scotland) the cottages offer access within 45 mins to many differing attractions. We enjoyed the owners excellent advice on coastal trips, high hill ranges in national park, local walks with loch swims and secluded beaches. The local town of Newton Stewart is classical delightful. Highly recommend. Would’ve liked a separate shower or screen on bath and hot water controls good when mastered. Bed super comfy and fire pit fun. ”
