"Perfect stay for a couples get away. Right off the lake, for plenty of fishing and swimming! Hot tub was a great bonus to the property. Kayak was provided at property which we took out on the water and also enjoyed. "

"The location is awesome. A good amount of shoreline to fish, swim and explore. The house was pretty decent overall with plenty of room for our party of 6. The only complaints we had were minor. Such as the ceiling fan on the porch did not work and the propane grill was inoperable as the burners were badly corroded. Also, some of the cookware has seen better days. And as another reviewer mentioned, the water did have a rather foul odor, which could likely be rectified with a filtration system. But, despite these minor inconveniences, we really enjoyed the property and will definitely return in the future."

"Our family vacation to Douglas Lake was absolutely amazing. The host of the house Jason was great to work with, answered any questions or concerns I had very promptly. The house was clean, awesome location and a perfect size for our family of six. We also appreciated that it was dog friendly so we all could be together. We rented a pontoon from H2O water sports very convenient and close to the house. Visited the Bush’s baked bean factory, and took a trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. But most of all we spent our time at the house and on the lake, just enjoying being together, fishing, having fires, making lots of family memories. One of our favorite things was seeing all the deer everywhere, anytime of the day. You definitely won’t be disappointed if you stay at Fort Sunsets. Book your next getaway with them. "
