“Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. “This place was amazing. It has been lovingly converted into accommodation with so much attention to detail that you don’t want to leave. “Our group was two married couples all about 60 years old traveling together. We enjoyed meeting the married couple who were our host. We had several pleasant and informative conversations with them while there for one night. They provided a wonderful breakfast for us prior to our departure. The rooms and bathrooms were nice. Inside is presented beautifully and it’s spotless. Everything has been thought of down to spare batteries, coffee pods and women’s toiletries.
