“We opted for the Viking Lodge as a stop between North and South Wales, and it was delightful. The lodge comes with all the required amenities, fridge, oven, stove, kettle and top notch WiFi. This is something that teenagers seem particularly fond of, and ours were no different. The lodge is set just off a farmhouse, amidst scenic rolling hills in central Wales. The Viking lodge comes with a lovely sauna, which is really easy to operate and delightful to be in. There’s also an inside table……

Michelle made us very welcome from when we arrived until we left, the cottage was clean and well kitted out just one problem the mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable”

It was shared with owners who live next door, which meant you had to leave the property to access it.Note for people with dogs.Owners ask that pets are not left in the property unattended. Might be an issue for some people if they want to pop to pub for a meal or drink without pets.Overall we had a lovely time……

“Absolutely loved our quick little get away. Lovely remote area and amazing for stars at night. The cottage was a good size even with a toddler running about. The welcome basket was a saving grace and loved the bara brith (ordered more to take home as gifts too). We went into Llandeilo which had not many but lovely shops and on one of our days drove for about an hour to get to folly Farm. It was nice and relaxed and the hot tub was so comfy.
