“We had some events in the area, so we decided to book a lake-front property to enjoy some quiet, Fall-season time. The place didn't disappoint. By mid-October, this area is past the fall-foliage season and boat traffic is at a minimum. This listing is accurate. The place is quiet. The host is very responsive. Enjoy!”

“The property was close to St. Lawrence, where my daughter goes to school. It offered a nice living area with a full kitchen and laundry. The outdoor space was amazing. An Igloo where we played games while being outside and out of the snowy cold. The hot tub was a great treat after being out in the cold or playing pickleball all day. I was able to hide easter eggs on their gorgeous property, for my daughter, that went from the hot tub down the long path to the river. We felt comfortable taking……

“This place is absolutely perfect for any visit to Clarkson! So clean and comfortable and only four minutes away from campus. Wish I would have found this on our first visit. It is close, yet so relaxing by the river with so many things to do to relax. Beth, the host, is very kind and helpful for absolutely anything you may need. Definitely recommend to any first year parents for a perfect place to stay throughout your childs college events throughout the years!”

“We had a great stay here! My husband and I and our 3 kids were in town for the weekend. The camp was very peaceful on the river. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed including coffee, toiletries, towels, linens and more. The hosts even included complimentary drinks and a smores kit which we used when we made a fire in the outdoor fire-pit. It was the perfect spot for our weekend stay and I highly recommend. Host was great at communicating.”

“Tiny House is exactly what it is, it was perfect for what we needed and affordable. All the hotel chains in the area are outrageously over priced all the time. This rental is perfect for a couple or single person staying a night or two. Its an all open floor space, double bed is a fotone & queen bed was up on a loft. 3 of us with a dog stayed 1 night, my 17 year old was the better option to climb up to queen bed, my husband and i stayed on the couch bed and our 50lb dog laid on his dog bed……

“Adorable, comfortable house. Needed a place for 4 people and the house was the perfect size. Walking distance from downtown and Clarkson. Little too long a walk to SUNY Potsdam. The fire pit out back was an added bonus. Would stay there again if we return to Potsdam.”

“This was our second time staying at the Scheller House and it now feels like our home away from home. The property is always clean, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with amenities. The owners are responsive and wonderful at leaving a little something extra to welcome the guests. “The house was very cozy and comfortable. The area was semi-remote (ie necessities within reach but great dark skies). We very much enjoyed the tire swing and fire pit. Also the property manager was super communicative and helpful. All our basic needs were meticulously met with snacks, a coffee and tea bar, and toiletries provided. Finally there was an outdoor plug near the driveway that was easily accessible to charge our car with our level 1 cable.”
