“Very nice hotel. It was the perfect location- a three minute walk to the beach and a five minute walk to Manuel Antonio National Park. Nice pool and amenities and friendly staff. The room was on the small side for the three of us but it was fine. We also had a big patio and garden space. ”

“Hotel Costa Verde did not meet our expectations; it was the most expensive place we stayed in Costa Rica and we liked it the least. The biggest problem is the hotel room walls are paper thin so we could clearly hear normal volume conversations taking place in the next room as well as lots of noise from the baby and toddler, waking us up multiple times during the night and noisy throughout the day as well. You can hear doors opening and closing very loudly in the next room, too. The hotel does……

“We arrived late and got a warm welcome from the night staff. Our room, was downstairs, at the end of the building, huge, and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was a good size and split up from the bedroom by a handy dressing area. We had a balcony, our view was small, with some garden, the jungle and next to the path down to the beach (quite steep, takes 5- 10 minutes to walk down to beach , 10 minutes+ to get back). I was initially disappointed by the view, but grew to love it. We saw squirrel……

“Everything about the room and property was wonderful. I can't say enough of how thoughtfully well appointed was the room. They thought of everything in anticipation of guests needs, including sensors, unlimited coffee and lighting. The staff was incredible and especially the reception attendant Caleb, who helped us with sights and restaurant suggestions. Will be back if we come this way again. Apart from that, everything was excellent. Location is excellent with a super market across the street. Lot of restaurants around. ”

“This hotel exceeded our expectations! The restaurant and pool area was perfect for our family. Our kids could swim while we waited for meals. The food was great and they even had some local IPAs at the bar. The room was clean and had everything we needed: a mini fridge, coffee maker and shampoo! It is about a 4 minute walk to the beach, which allowed us to go back and forth to the room throughout the day so we didn’t have to bring all our belongings with us to the beach.
