Really nice breakfast with good sized portions. Dinner in the hotel, although the menu was somewhat limited for choice was always excellent and again, good sized portions. The breakfast's were excellent and there was a good choice for the evening meal. Our room was OK but had a sloping roof and not very easy to stay clear of when getting into and out of bed. Everything about it was perfect, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, great pub and good location. Salad was gritty as not washed. Mains special was excellent. Friendly service. Table needed a wipe over as sticky. Bedroom was quiet (except for traffic noise, and outside teeny bop music they had playing through a speaker (unnecessarily). Had to sleep with window shut, which made the room stuffy. Breakfast was OK but they didn’t provide any yoghurt, let alone natural. Again, nice staff. Excellent breakfast got what we asked for every morning. Book room 2 highly recommended lovely big separate bath, room very spacious. The food, both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The bedroom was small but comfortable. The ensuite was spotless but did not have a bath. The staff in the restaurant were efficient and polite.
