Here, you will find this house resting peacefully! Countless possibilities await visitors in the summer as well as in the winter season. At an altitude with a relatively high snow guarantee, one can ski down the slopes without a long wait at the ski lifts. This is a real advantage of the ski areas in the Thuringian Forest, and they are therefore attractive winter sports destinations. The Masserberg region offers three ski lift systems in Masserberg, Fehrenbach and Heubach. The extensive net of ski trails, cross-country skiing trails and winter hiking trails as well as a 400-metre long and well-prepared sledging track round off the leisure programs. Popular excursions: Sea Aquarium Zella Mehlis (25km), Weimar (70km), Erfurt (60km). The charming town is located on Mount Simmersberg's southern slope and from its summit you can enjoy the panoramic views over Thuringia and Franconia. On the ground floor, you have a nice kitchen which is equipped for preparing delicious meals and drinks. The living/dining room is an ideal place with a seating area and a woodstove for keeping you cosy and warm. There is a radio on which you can listen songs while relaxing on the veranda.
