“We chose this property after reading lots of highly rated reviews by previous guests and the cottage lived up to the praise. Fantastic location in a quiet village with great views. The cottage was very homely and welcoming with some great attention to detail. The kitchen was well equipped with quality appliances and accessories. We were grateful for the generous welcome pack which came in useful. Highly recommended. ”

“This is a remarkable historic property in the Swaledale valley, with extraordinary views. And yet the cottage has been painstakingly updated inside, with every comfort and amenity attended to. The bed is comfortable; the bath is modern; there's a fantastic wood-stove. And the owners have provided wonderful maps and suggestions for walks in the area. You're just up the hill from the Punch Bowl, a gastro-pub with good food. This is a very special place to stay.”

“What a fantastic place to stay , the cottage was perfect , very comfortable and felt just right .had everything we needed for our stay. Bed comfy and clean loved the way you slept downstairs and the views breathtaking. Lots of information and maps so perfect for us . No garden for four legged friend but walks just outside . We did keep our dog on lead due lambs and nesting birds . Fantastic pub 2 minute walk away . Will be going back without a doubt . Perfect for us .”
