“I can’t give this property enough stars! Even before we checked in, Rose called to make sure if we had any questions or concerns. The house was spotless. It was nice to be able to cook breakfast in the four kitchen and there was even a crockpot available for use.The views were amazing. “I don’t know so much as it was the host issue, but when I got to the property, I could not access the code on the door because I booked through Expedia and the host sent a message to Vrbo with the code. I did not know I had to access Vrbo for this reservation since I booked through Expedia I think that was the main confusion. Other than that the property was great. I think guest should be aware there’s no bar soap or shampoo or anything like that just some pump soap at the sink. I was not……

“Our family spent 2 nights at the Hemlock. Franklin was extremely hospitable and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. “We loved how huge the house was inside lots of beds great amenities the number one amenity that we love was the usage of the golf cart, which let my boys explore the woods to all the bays for some fishing spots, which they totally loved. The kayaks were also a huge plus we just wish the access to the lake for the kayaks was a tad bit easier but it’s all good we understand about ruining the neighbors yard and grass so that’s why we have to walk around the other house on the gravel totally……

“This house needs work. One night a window broke and kept us awake. The next night the spouting banged against the house for hours. Some of the doors and door knobs don’t work properly. The host clearly knew the lock box wasn’t working, but hadn’t fixed it or told us before we arrived. We had to wait about a half hour before the issue was resolved. The stairs and floors are uneven; they are not safe for young kids or anyone with mobility problems. Lighting for the stairs is minimal. The washer……

“A nice little cabin for a couple of days. I looks bigger in the pictures but was more than adequate for our needs. The window air conditioner was fine once the sun went down but when I was hot it had trouble keeping up. We had to open windows and use the fan we brought to cool it down our second night. There was also a very strong horse manure smell since it was located on the edge of the farm. Reminded me of my childhood but my wife was less than enthusiastic. Hot tub is great and the fire out……
