The property is perfect! Big beautiful 3 bedroom house each with own full bath. Walk to pool and many other amenities (marina, tennis, Baytowne, etc.). Service and communication was perfect. We will come back!

Perfect

Wonderful vacation home! As a former Gatlinburg cabin inspector I have a pretty good idea what clean is and what amenities a great rental should look like and have, this beautiful home checks off all the boxes. Great location very near a pool, walking trails, golf courses, tennis and pickle ball courts, shopping, Publix and Baytowne Wharf is three blocks away. It really couldn’t have been any better.

Fantastic property

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, well stocked and decorated nicely. The golf cart is a huge bonus and the location to all the action can’t be beat. 5 stars for this family vacation!!!

Overall, okay. The bed was very comfortable. The storage for clothing was abysmal. No closets or drawers, just tiny cubbies, as if people would only have a swimsuit to store. I was there a month and had to keep my clothes in my suitcase in the living room. The house was very cold. I liked the neighborhood, accessibility to restaurants, and security.

Quick family getaway.

Wonderful place to stay with our college age daughter and our 2 dogs. Centrally located and only had to drive our car once since we could go everywhere in the golf cart. Only a few minor things I would change- no closets or drawers in downstairs main bedroom and HVAC was temperature controlled offsite so no matter what you set it on, temperature would reset itself back to preset temp.

Great location and space!

This was our first time staying in Sandestin and won’t be our last. Last year we stayed a little down the road in Miramar Beach across street from beach and while this was further from the beach it was 1000000% easier getting to the beach with a golf cart and designated spots to park! I’m a very detailed person and like to know how everything works and this location really can’t be beat. You can easily walk to the Phil Hummel pool which is super nice for little ones as it’s beach style and you can wade in. You can be at the beach in minutes with the golf cart that has ample space. Taking the tunnel under 98 and then following the path down to park at the beach house restaurant made it a simple walk to the beach. Only downside is the dedicated chairs and umbrella rentals that you are pose to setup behind (I like setting up at the water) but it didn’t appear they were enforcing this, assuming cause it wasn’t as busy. The wharf was fun and the kids enjoyed running around there ( ages 2 and 3). Dad and I played Raven Golf Club and the course was amazing, unfortunate that a storm came through and poured on us. If you’re a golfer highly recommend a morning out, especially if you’re from the north, the course was just amazing condition. The house was more than we expected. The common area was a huge open space and plenty of room for 4 adults. Kitchen was nice with gas stove and a HUGE island. Small issue with the fridge but they were out quickly and addressed it.

Sandestin in February

Overall great Home in a great location in the Sandestin resort. Only problem is no one could tell us where to park a third car. Apparently no overflow parking is available, We asked two friends to join us during our stay. We had t reschedule so that their visit did not overlap. This should be included in the property description.

Sandestin Holiday

My family and I had a very nice stay over the New Year! We've been to Sandestin many times in the past, but this was the first time staying away from the beach area. The home was clean and located in nice quiet street near a community pool. It has three bedrooms, all with King beds and their own private baths. The rental come with a newer 6-person golf cart which is great to get around the community. Neighbors were nice as well! We will definitely consider staying at this home again in the future as it was dog friendly as well! Only one small critique, the upper bedroom gets very warm when running the heat! We closed the vents, but it was still pretty warm.

Nicely renovated

I love when a vacation rental looks as advertised. Very spacious. Plenty of common space and very spacious private bedrooms. I love that this home has 2 masters. The property manager delivered the golf cart keys moments after our arrival and was very thorough in explaining all the amenities the community has to offer. Plenty of activities for all ages. Our only complaint is the beach is extremely over crowded. Thankfully we didn’t have any problems with the patrons who set up around us. Overall we were very pleased and would return.

Beach vacation

Nice place, lots of room and multiple bathrooms is awesome. Downside beach access. All properties around funnel to one beach access and its beyond crowded. Golf cart is great to avoid traffic.

Love love love!

This was the perfect place for our group. Location was easy to get in and out of. Right next to the pool. Living and kitchen are very spacious with plenty of room for everyone to lounge. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place/location

The house was great with many unique furnishings. Great location, everything inside was great. Landscaping could use some TLC. The only issue we had was there was a horrible sewage smell at the front door and screened in porch. We couldn’t use the screened in porch the entire visit and had to run to the cart it was so bad. We did text twice and they responded quickly. Someone came and walked around the outside but never came in the porch/door. I think there is a broken pipe under the house. When you ran the washer or dishwasher and took a shower the downstairs toilet would completely drain. If this was fixed we would stay again.

First time in Destin

The house is very clean and spacious. Plenty of room for our 6 adults. It is centrally located and a golf cart ride away from dining, shopping and the beach. The golf cart is roomy and a great perk to the property. The pool is a short walk and beautiful. It would have been great to know about the water exercise classes ahead of time as they were completely booked for the week by the time we got there. All in all, it was a great location. Any negative comments are more about the area in general. It is quite expensive in Sandestin. An average meal for our 6 adults (without drinks) was $250 for average seafood. Dewey Destin - the outdoor location - was by far the best seafood and priced reasonably. The resort beach is SUPER crowded and full of chair/umbrella rentals. We had to set up behind the multiple rows of chairs and couldn’t see the gulf from where we were seated. After two days we found Santa Rosa public beach. A short car ride and absolutely gorgeous and much much less crowded. We were able to paddle board around at this beach and float easily. We would have enjoyed having beach chairs and an umbrella provided at the house so we didn’t have to pack and bring however. The house is beautiful but lacked any pantry staples (not even salt and pepper). We’ve stayed at many VRBO locations and most have basic spices and pantry items. For the price we paid (which was a premium because I booked back in February) we would have thought some items would have been provided. It was a little disappointing to see the prices slashed the week after we arrived (almost in half) because the house wasn’t booked, but that’s on me for booking so far in advance. There are very nice tennis and pickle ball courts in the resort that we booked early in the week and enjoyed. We also took advantage of the iexplore golf rounds which was nice. We enjoyed our stay - the gulf is beautiful, but probably have checked the Sandestin box and will move on. We can find just as nice a little closer to us without a 10 hour drive. We did find a great photographer (Amanda Eubank Photography) for family photos in Santa Rosa and learned (too late) you can book bonfires on that beach which looked really fun. We sailed with Sailing Moby and it was by far the best sailing trip we’ve ever been on - out of Destin. Highly recommend.

Sandestin stay was great

This was our first time staying in Sandestin rather than Miramar Beach so really enjoyed the use of the golf cart. The house decor/renovation was "fresh" and modern and it was very clean upon check-in. Beds were very comfortable. It would help to have some instructions or manuals for the refrigerator and tv remotes for guests. We did have some trouble getting in when first arriving as the door would not open, so we called the property manager. Turns out the door handle has to be pulled "up" to enter instead of "down" which is the typical way, so that was confusing and it may help to list this on the website. The front room was very bright in the mornings and at night with the lights from outside, as there is no window covering on the oval window. We really did enjoy the house overall as it met the needs we had as a family.
