Play golf in nearby Alnmouth (6 miles) with its glorious beach and quaint village shops. Visit Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden, both just 9 miles away, for an excellent day out.
Staying in this energy-efficient, luxurious, three-storey property with warming underfloor heating, creative mood lighting, and gorgeous fixtures and furnishings throughout, promises the whole family a perfect blend of escape, relaxation, and sustainability. Enter the property’s generous hallway and you will find a door leading to the downstairs WC and also a useful boot room/utility with a washer/dryer. There are coat hooks and a seat where you can rest to take off your outdoor boots, and this is a perfect place for dogs to dry off after a beach walk, and snooze in peace. Come through into the well-designed open-plan kitchen/diner where you will find everything you need to make a range of meals. The induction hob is set into the kitchen island with bar stools on one side, so you can sit for a chat with a drink while the chef of the family is preparing dinner. Coffee aficionados will appreciate the Dolce Gusto coffee machine. For memorable mealtimes, families and friends will enjoy sitting together at the large dining table, and in warmer months the French doors open onto the enclosed patio, so you can enjoy inside/outside living. The open-plan theme continues as you pass the electric flame-effect fire set in the dividing wall to reach the ground-floor lounge. This area has a view of the communal garden at the front of the property and a comfortable ‘L’ shaped sofa where you can relax to watch a movie on the Smart TV. Head upstairs to the first floor to find three of the beautifully furnished bedrooms. The fabulous main bedroom has a king-size bed, a TV, and a set of sliding door wardrobes with a secret door leading to the stunning en-suite with a walk-in shower and WC. There are two other beautiful bedrooms on this floor; one with a king-size bed and the other with a double, each with an en-suite walk-in shower and WC. On the second floor, the impressive chalet-style lounge is set in the eaves with stunning lighting, a floor-to-ceiling window and bi-fold doors which allow plenty of natural light into the room. The lounge has two comfortable sofas to recline on, and three steps lead to a small mezzanine area. What's more, you can watch the large, Smart TV sitting on the sofas in the lounge. This floor also boasts a west-facing glazed balcony with outdoor furniture, where you can watch the sunsets and starry night sky. The fourth king-size bedroom is also on the second floor with a beautiful en-suite walk-in shower and WC.
Outside to the rear, is an enclosed courtyard-style patio with garden furniture and lighting, perfect for al fresco dinner and drinks or relaxing in the hot tub.
