“My friends and I stayed at this property on the past weekend. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. First and foremost, the uncleanliness of the space was alarming. We discovered cockroaches not only in the fridge and on the shelves but also around the basement area. This made us feel uncomfortable and concerned about our health throughout our stay. Additionally, the advertisement does not mention that the property was a shared space. This missing information significantly……

“1st stay at the Birch. Everything was perfect, easy arrival and departure. Extremely clean and well equipped cottage. We stayed in the Waupoos cottage with our small dog. The 2nd level terrace was great to hang out on. The view of the water is very nice, the variety of birds to observe was amazing. I initially was concerned about the Tim Horton’s and gas station directly across but we could not hear any noise at all. Although the kitchen was equipped to make coffee we opted to go to Tim’s……

The hosts' personal touches are everywhere, making it really feel like a home away from home! The place is a bit out of the way but a very quick drive to downtown Picton, and we really did love the sunset views!”
