“The bed didn't have a comforter, only a thin blanket and a sheet. The bedsheet itself had a stain on it. The mattress feels like its caving in on itself, so you sink into the middle of it. The bathroom ceiling fan was the loudest and most useless thing in the room. Nothing wrong with a 1980 non-modernized hotel room, but it makes it feel old, crusty, and musty in the room. The only light switch in the room was for a single, flickering, dim bulb. You had to rely on the 5 lamps in the room to……

“The 1st thing you notice when entering to check in is that the place smelled like cigarette smoke. I guess they still allow smoking in the casino. Fortunately, I couldn't smell it in the room. The room had a mini-fridge that I used for leftovers, but there was no place to reheat them. I had to take them to the front desk to have them heat them up for me in the back. They should have at least 1 microwave on each floor by the vending machines. The leftovers was from their own steakhouse, which was……

“Clean, convenient location, had everything needed for a weekend stay. Recommended.”

“Clean room and very big. The blackout curtains did not blackout very well. The beer was 9 $ and we are in Iowa not Chicago. The worst part of my two day stay was the baseball families came on Saturday and took over the hotel. The kids were running around the hotel and playing on the terrace. I had nowhere to go to quietly have a beer. You just go back to your room. Travelers beware of baseball families coming to your hotel. It was like a bad movie and the staff did nothing.”

“No breakfast, had cereal and no milk, asked and they appologized and did not have any. Only breakfast was a loaf of bread and a toaster with peanut butter. No coffee. This was at 7am. room was dirty and had hair in shower, beds where made poorly. T.v did not work and lights flickered. Worst hotel i have ever stayed at. ”

“Booked 3 rooms for me and my family for a graduation weekend. I’m going to admit, I was skeptical at first but the place was very clean, staff was friendly and I would stay again. The area around there is sketchy, so not my first choice but for the price it was very affordable, clean and an overall nice stay.”
