“The farmhouse was very clean with a spectacular view of the lake and surrounding areas. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend for a short or extended stay.”

We where not served our starters until 9pm and deserts till after 10pm with a young family this was obviously not ideal. I must comment all food (apart from veggie option) was very good.”

“Safe and clean. Eclectic feel. Docked Two points because the doors and walls are paperthin. Can hear everything. I also ended up in disabled room which I didn't book. Also no "reception." If you need help after hours on a holiday think again ”

“This is a great place to get away. The hosts are amazing! Great shops within 20min and a beautiful property. If going far, take a taxi to the train station, taxis are very expensive.”

“Room furniture very dated and not in very good condition. Limited menu in restaurant Soup Indian curry or sandwich Sandwich one thin slice of ham slice of cheese and about six pieces of onion For a four star Hotel this is totally unacceptable Had to find another restaurant for our second night.”

“The Abraham was a comfortable stay in a self-contained farm cottage. It had everything we needed from a comfortable bed, a good shower, warm heater and washing machine. Sean was a very friendly and helpful landlord with plenty of helpful advice about dinner options and local sites. We had a wonderfully quiet couple of days. ”

“The staff were terrific but clearly short staffed and overworked. Not their fault—and the staff on the front desk were marvellous if you could get their attention, but it was apparent that they are short staffed. Let me begin by saying we live kids—we’ve had four and they have kids now. But this place was 24 hours of kids out of control—from the bedroom hallways to the bar and lobby…yelling, running—one twelve year old slapped the heck out if her father at the bar.
