This has been the nicest place we’ve ever stayed in in all of Ireland. Staff were amazing, servers in the restaurant were amazing and fun. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend

Who doesn't want to stay at a 900-year-old castle when you visit Ireland? It was a magical visit and the capstone of our visit to the Emerald Island. The staff was beyond welcoming and excellent. The setting was perfect - the room was luxurious and the food was first class. We could not have asked for more and have recommended this to our friends!

Kilkea castle and grounds are spectacular. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The room is comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. The food at the restaurant is delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Truly loved staying here, definitely regret not staying more than one night! Loved the castle, the carriage rooms, and the grounds were spectacular. Golfing was fun and all the staff were very nice. Food was great too! Would recommend travellers to stay here for a few days and enjoy the beauty!

Just a lovely place to stay with great staff and friendly atmosphere. This is a “proper” castle - built 900 years ago. We ate at one of the restaurants and had a lovely meal. Gardens have several walks including a long walk through local woods which we enjoyed.

We stayed in the carriage house and a friend stayed in castle. Both were great. Breakfast was fantastic and we had a great meal at the golf restaurant. I love running, and there are some great country roads nearby to walk or run.
