“We had a very pleasant 4 day stay here. The property was perfect for our needs and has a fantastic view of the hills. If you’re looking for peace and quiet and lots of good, nearby walks this is the place to be. Laura was very welcoming and gave us lots of good information about the area. “This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all……

“Ideal place for 2 couples. The accommodation has been recently renovated to a high standard. The kitchen was very well equipped. There was plentiful parking. We really enjoyed spending a night on the decking with views of Windermere. The key safe made it easy to check in & out.”

“Hot tub shuts off at 11pm, and at that point have to go indoors. Its nice to have a choice of late night if want to. Little restricting”
