“Enjoyed a weekend break at The White Buck. Beautiful building, Lovely bedroom, bar/restaurant offering breakfast/lunch and dinner. There are also events that take place throughout the year.
The White Buck is located in Burley, in the New Forest, Hampshire. Ideally placed for both Hampshire/Dorset coastline, and lots of picturesque villages and towns for sightseeing. Don't forget the New Forest ponies!
Handy base if you want to get the ferry from either Lymington or Southampton to the Isle of……
“Booked the room for a family event nearby. Were able to check in at 2pm, which was a bonus. Met by the owner who was very friendly and helpful and shown to our room which was very pleasant and clean. A Dyson fan on the room was much appreciated on a very hot day. Comfortable bed, great shower and nice breakfast. No negatives. Would highly recommend.”

Beautiful rooms, very friendly staff who are always willing to stash my bag after I check out but before my train out). So much love to everyone at Ormonde House. “Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and wanted. The position of High Corner is fantastic and that’s not really doing it justice! The staff, all of them, were polite, welcoming, helpful and a credit to the pub.
The rooms we had were lovely although one was a little small due to being upstairs, however this did not detract from my stay as I had it all to myself!
Food, especially breakfast was very good. The steak was soo good I nearly had it the……

“Really lovely stay at the hotel. Family of 5, with 3 children 5 and under and we felt very welcome. Perfect for a visit to Peppa Pig only 10 mins away.
The staff were great. Really welcoming and no issue with the noise that children bring.
Dinner was lovely. Although pub grub it was really tasty.
Family room was very big. Although a little tired looking was absolutely fine for our stay.
Would definitly recommend and would stay again.
Only downside. The outside area would really benefit……

Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all.
Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late.
Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.”
