“Sao Martinho is a jewel of a town and this place is close walking distance to everything. When the sun’s out, you couldn’t ask for a better place. Great yard with parking. Since it rained quite a bit during our stay, it dampened our visit. Again, we went during the off-season. Scott is very attentive and accommodating. Will go back to this place.”

“What a lovely home, with extraordinary views of the ocean. Our group of 4 couples was able to settle in easily, with all of the necessary comforts. During our stay, we enjoyed the nearby trail to the beach and the extensive walking/running trail along the main road. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked many meals there. The information provided about local places to go was extremely helpful. It was the perfect location for day trips to many towns in the area.”

“We just got back from a 4 day stay at this gorgeous house and the only thing wrong was that it wasn’t long enough!! The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is spotless with a well appointed kitchen and lots of space on the three levels to relax. The beds are comfortable as is the rest of the furniture. And the views are incredible. The housekeeper and host are amazing. Very easy to get in touch with and extremely helpful. We look forward to returning to Casa Do Mar soon! Thank you!!”

“Quiet and peaceful with plenty of room for our family time in north central Portugal. Beautiful Nazare harbor views - hear the waves crashing on the beach each morn. It is not in town so you will need a car to explore entire Nazare, but then again you probably have one to get here. Owner was very responsive to messages and we really had no issues.”

“If I could rate this 6 stars, I would! Located just inside the Medieval wall surrounding the town of Obidos, the apartment was easily accessible from one of the entrances. Our gracious host, Rodrigo was an excellent communicator prior to our arrival and helped us with our luggage and getting settled. He even offered to make a dinner reservation for us which we greatly appreciated. A very comfortable bed, a cozy living room / dining area with fireplace and plenty of firewood, a well equipped……

“A beautiful villa which was very clean and had everything you would need. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had every utensil we needed. The closeness of Pingo Doce supermarket which was 10 minutes away meant we were never without fresh fish, meat , salad and wine. It was great to have the swimming pool to come back to after a day at the local beach in Foz Do Arelho, our favourite and surrounded by wonderful restaurants. We would definitely go back again and enjoy the surroundings even……

“Nous avons passé un 10 jours parfait à Salir de Porto. La maison est très belle et propre et très bien équipée. La piscine était un gros plus pour les enfants et même si nous étions début avril le fait qu'elle soit chauffée nous permettait de se baigner toute la journée. La plage de Salir de Porto est magnifique et le coin sécuritaire et sympathique. Petit parc pour enfant et épicerie à 5-10 minutes de marche. Nous reviendrions sans hésiter!”

Piscine sans échelle (il y en a une mais HS), merci de penser aux personnes avec un léger handicap pour remonter, épuisette sans filet (pas pratique pour récupérer les insectes au fond). Impossible d'avoir la télé en Français. Aucune notices (visites, commerces...etc) en français. Si vous ne parlez pas anglais, bon courage....Sinon tout est bien.”
