“Our stay was unfortunately a very bad experience from the moment we checked in. We were given keys to two different apartments without any clear explanation. When we opened one of the units, two men were inside, which was extremely frightening—especially since I was with my children.The apartment we were supposed to stay in (the top two floors) was in unacceptable condition. The kitchen was filthy—the stove, pots, and pans were all dirty, and we had to clean everything ourselves before using it.……

“The apartment location is great. The beach is really not far and there is a grocery and dollar store just beside. It is on a busy street but that was not a problem. We enjoyed the apartment, it was nice and clean. The host was very responsive and professional. We did face a few annoyances though. The main one was the lack of room and chairs at the dining table. “The Octopus Cottage was the perfect spot for a cozy getaway! Donna has thought of quite literally everything, the house is stocked from top to bottom. While we did not need anything during our stay, we knew we could always ask for anything - her communication was phenomenal the whole time. The location is perfect, just a few minutes away from Cape May and tons of breweries and restaurants. We had a wonderful time and hope to return!”
