“We liked the firepit and the pond. The cottage is cute and well- stocked. It was not cleaned well after the last guest. We found food in two different areas. The carpets had not been vacuumed. We couldn't find kitchen towels and the tvs were difficult to use.”

“We had a great stay at the Happy as a clam cottages. The cottage was very nice and clean. Being able to eat a few meals in using the full kitchen, BBQ was a plus. The location was perfect for our interests (it is very close to 2 very fine oyster farms/restaurants, several state parks, and a short drive to both the bay and oceanside of the peninsula. We would highly recommend.”

“We had a wonderful time with friends. It was a short drive to every place we wanted to go. Jack's Mercantile was amazing and we enjoyed the Cranberry Museum. Being elderly, next time we'll get a two bathroom place. The door lock was a challenge at times. We were able to relax and I didn't do any yard work which needed attention.”

“Property outside is okay, deck rails very unstable if you need support getting up stairs. Inside the house was nice, a little musty smelling but nice cross ventilation cleared that out. Good layout and plenty of space for 4 to 5 people.”

“We enjoyed our stay here immensely! The cottage is cozy, comfortable and very clean! A comfortable bed and we found that despite being close to the highway, it was quiet. While small, it offers almost everything one could want in a beach stay. A well equipped kitchen and dishware for meals in. We especially liked the back porch and comfortable rockers overlooking the back yard. The fenced side yard and dog door were ideal for our girl to come in and out. She enjoyed sitting on the porch……
