“My stay at the Valley Star Motel was pleasant. It’s an older property, but the refurbished room was spotless and tastefully simple, which I really appreciated. The room provisions were minimal but practical, including only essential toiletries, a desk, coffee maker, microwave, and fridge; essentially a tiny kitchen setup. The owner-operator who greeted me was kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.”

“This place was really clean, the staff were very nice. I like the fact that there were numerous slippers included. I wish there was conditioner included. ”

“Needed place for nearby hiking. Bonus separate room for 2nd bed. Comfortable bed , quiet all night after 1030 pm or so. Stayed a second night. ”

“This was our second stay at Sandy Beach. The renovations of the suites are very nice. Being right on the beach is wonderful. Ceiling fans in each room are nice. The upper suites share a balcony with no dividers which doesn’t make for any privacy. Pros: access to lounge chairs, kayaks, paddle boards Con: they do not offer a full size coffee maker, no roasting pan or cookie sheet that can be used in the oven, the shampoo/bodywash bottles are too small and the shower head doesn’t work properly……

“Great spot easy to get around from here. Stayed with a young child, close to the park and restaurants with kid options. Kitchen in suit was a great addition to our stay. We will book here again! ”
