“We stayed at the villa for two weeks - 4 adults and 1 young child. The villa was great. The listing shows many of its features but in reality it is even better. The villa and grounds cover a large area allowing people to either be together or to find an area to relax by themselves. The many fruit trees and their fruit also added to the overall feeling of the villa as a place to relax. The villa was clean and all bed linen/towels were good quality and changed during the stay. The kitchen was……

“The room was modern and spotless, the views were beautiful, the breakfast was plentiful. Beatriz was an absolute angel, from making reservations at recommended restaurants, to organising taxis, she often checked in on us to see if we needed anything. What a wonderful find, I'm sure we'll be back! Thank you!”

“We had a nice stay, host was very easy to talk to and accommodated late check out for us with no issue. Only downside for us when we arrived there were quite a few moths inside and getting to the house was fairly difficult. I would definitely recommend a small car!”

“If you are exploring the Douro Valley this home on the waterfall is a perfect oasis!! The pictures do not do this property justice - it truly is a paradise And Paula the caretaker is a delight. Do not hesitate if this is available - just book it right away.”

“Beautiful view of the Douro Valley. Grocery store and gas very close.Very clean and well equipped. Owner and caretaker/cleaners easy to communicate with. Great for a family retreat.”

“Love it! So calm and peaceful”

“Pros: The house was very well equipped and host was always available , one of our best stays. Cons: Cannot complain about anything, everything was to very high standards!”
