“The cabin was fantastic, very clean and tidy - most of all very, very quiet. The attention from the female caretaker was outstanding, she made sure everything was to our satisfaction, all in all a great stay. Would recommend to anyone to stay there.”

“Nice location and nice stay. We only had a one night trip in March which we had to do with skiing. Central location for visiting the park This place is set up for skiers. Actually the entire town is, and this maybe one of the nicer ones judging by walking around town. It was roomy for the 2 and could sleep at 6 comfortably. The deck was nice and the kitchen. On the flip side there was no bbq to be found as advertised and no heat for our chilly night. The wood stove could easily have been used if……

“It looks like the place has been going thru renovations. The room has new kitchen and floor, may be carpet too. It is about 15-20 min. to the NP visitor center and many thrailheads and has restaurants and supermarket nearby. Since the room has full pane glass as wall and access door along the corridor ( much like patio door ) which allows full view of the mountains and also tenants walking on the corridor. For privacy, you need to close the curtain.”

“The location was great for it's proximity to Whakapapa ski field, apart from the trains it was a quiet neighbourhood, with a playground nearby, and plenty of room inside.Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the property let it down, it felt like it could do with a deep clean throughout the house. The dishwasher had a funny smell, there was human hair in the dishbrush (we went and bought our own for the trip), hair and other debris in the cutlery drawer and all the tea towels were smelly and dirty……

“Positive Aspects:The property overall was fine and met basic expectations.Rooms and facilities were generally in order.Areas of Concern:BBQ: The BBQ was not cleaned prior to our arrival. It took significant time to clean, and when we attempted to use it, the 9kg gas bottle was completely empty. We drove to several places to refill it but were unsuccessful, which caused considerable frustration and delays.Kitchen & Utensils: Cooking utensils were left dirty, and there was no scrub provided to……
