“Very enjoyable stay at this property. The house is lovely! Great space in the garden for the kids to play. We set up a badminton net and they used in daily. Good woods at the back of the property to walk and explore too! Perfect if you're wanting to head into Newcastle city centre and many of the local beaches. Slight confusion on the beds when we arrived (6 adults and 3 children), as it there was one set of bedding short. However, Derek and Paula were quick on responding and sorted it very……

“Great central location but peaceful and quiet. Parking next to cottage is tricky but parking is available a short walk away. Dogs must be kept on a lead and are not allowed to walk on other properties grass at all. The cottage has everything you need inside and is very homely. ”

“When we arrived we saw immediately that the sofabed in the lounge was broken and could not be used to sit or sleep on, this was disappointing as it meant there were not enough beds for us all. We contacted the owner and the next day a chap arrived with an airbed. We requested that the sofa be replaced but that did not happen. “Cleaning was not good enough, webs in showers and mould. Stains on sheets and the dishwasher was not working. We was forced to pay for cleaning, despite all this. Dont recommend this, we felt cheated on.”

“Flat was spacious, but dated, and is located in an undesirable area. Cleanliness was generally okay but decor etc could do with upgrading and flat may benefit from being aired regularly. We got the impression that it had been a while since the windows had been opened.”
