“Wife and I stayed two nights at Hotel Family in mid-October, and had an exceptional experience. The street address is Dejzina Bikica, Sarajevo, but the entrance is actually down a side street at the opposite end of the building, away from Dejzina Bikica. There are several parking spaces facing nose-in along that street frontage. While searching for the entrance we were greeted at the upper end of the facility by Esmir. He cordially welcomed us and guided us to the Registration Counter. ……

“We spent 3 comfortable nights in the apartment. They are recently renovated, so everything is new and works well. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. We made breakfast each morning. The shower is spacious and hot. The location can't be beat. It's an easy to walk to the sites in the old city, restaurants and the river. But it's also very quiet. Parking is convenient, once you know where it is and how it works. In our case, Melisa was super helpful, going with us to the parking garage……

“The picture on the Expedia site is not the location of the property. The picture is of a bar at the corner. The bar tender seemed annoyed that I asked wher5e the property was (like it has happened before).”

“The room was dirty and stuffy, with no fresh air at all. There were hairs from the previous guest still on the bed sheets, which clearly hadn't been changed. After a 16-hour journey, all I wanted was a hot shower and some sleep, but there wasn't even any hot water. This is truly a place you should not stay at.”

“This apartment was an absolute gem! Situated right on the edge of the old town pedestrian only zone, there is access to all the shops and restaurants and museums you could want. Within walking distance to the gondola and brewery, and a block from the tram stop for visiting the tunnel of hope. The apartment is quite roomy and has many amenities if you want to stay in, but go out and explore this city!!!”

“Nice, quiet, clean and warm. As a family of four we had a great stay there. 100m away from a big supermarket, at the edge of old town and right next to the team, the location was fantastic too. Couldn't have asked for better.”

“Location is excellent, you can walk to Bascarsija and for a short stay is very convenient. Parking was not provided and we had to park about 10min away, not big deal as the weather was perfect.”

“I liked that the apartment was near old town, however it's up a steep hill, and the streets are very narrow (if you're driving). Be warned! The owner was communicative, however left out an important part of how to use the key fob to get in the building. Everything else was straightforward, for accessing the key. The view from the balcony was great-- looking up at (what I think was) Trebevic mountain. Unfortunately, we didn't use the roof, since it was chilly out (mid-October). The layout was a……

“Clean inside. Spacious. Customer service responsive but disappointed that it's not allowed to cancel the 3rd day booking despite giving more than 48 hrs notice. WiFi weak in the bedroom. Poor location and suggested for winter stay. Hard to walk to the town centre if poor weather condition. ”
