“We stayed at the Pela Mare Hotel for two nights, and it was a wonderful choice. We arrived late for check-in, and the manager, Giorgos, was waiting for us. He showed us to our room and even helped with our heavy luggage. The hotel is located on the hill. Our room had a beautiful sea view, and we spent our evenings on the balcony watching the lights of distant ships moving across the water, as well as the stunning changing colours of the sea and the charming coastal town. “The hotel is just a short walk from the port and it’s about 7 min away from Lion Square. The sound proof is amazing considering it’s on a main street and very close to the airport. Dimitri made some very good recommendations on restaurants - all of our meals have been amazing in Heraklion. The only recommendation I made is to replenish bottled water every day, rather than just giving 2 small bottles for the whole say. But all in all, good value for money and great hospitality! ”

“Wir sind schon viele Jahre in Sissi und probieren immer mal wieder eine neue Unterkunft aus, dieses Mal Koutrakis Suites. Eines vorweg: Wir waren äußerst zufrieden und würden es immer wieder buchen. Unsere Suite war ebenerdig zugänglich und verfügte über ein Schlafzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer und ein Bad mit Dusche und Wanne. Das Bad war großzügig geschnitten, ein besserer Fön und eine Beleuchtung am Spuegel wären verbessernd. Das Doppelbett war bequem und es gab ausreichend Platz für unsere Kleidung……

“This is not Greece! As soon as we saw the hotel we left. Very commercialized, and nothing like Greece, if that’s what you want than you will love it but we were looking for something totally different.”

“Entering the room was the only issue as the provided code did not work initially, but the host quickly resolved the issue. Property was very clean and could comfortably host up to 3 guests. Some beverages and snacks were provided as well. Very close to the city center and just a short drive from the airport.”
