Spring Acre Log Cabin

In a beautiful country setting, this log cabin offers a relaxing atmosphere and tranquil setting next to many acres of woodland with hiking trails. Located only three miles from Historic Strasburg Pa. Very close attractions include, Strasburg Railroad, Sight and Sound Theater, American Music Theater, Tanger Outlets, and many thrift and antique shops.
Located in the heart of Amish country, there many places to experience the fine dining of many Amish recipes. To list a few, Katie's Kitchen, Diener's Restaurant, Agape Cafe and Grill and The Speckled Hen, just to name a few.
For a rainy day there is a pool table, air hockey table, dart board, exercise equipment, and many board games. Two large screen televisions with many movies to choose from. WIFI is not available at this time. we are trying to find a supplier that has signal in this area.

Second Stay

This was our 2nd time to stay. Ken is a great host with all the accommodations you'll ever need. Location is central to everything Lancaster has to offer yet it's far enough away to enjoy the peace & quite. Great place for a large family & includes activities to entertain the kids. Looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful, clean, kind owner

Couldnt have asked for a better location for our little wedding of some family and friends. Its a gorgeous, quiet area and the cabin was very clean, cozy, and accommodating. It is even bigger and better in person than in the photos. Ken treated us like family and made sure we had everything. We are so happy we found this property and so grateful for the kind owner!

Outstanding quiet property

This place is awesome! Plenty of room for everyone. This is in the heart of Lancaster Amish country and the click dry clack of horse carriages can be heard from the spacious porch. There is a full game room in the basement and we used this as a separate bedroom with a cot that was provided. Ken was a fantastic and very friendly host. He was willing to provide anything we needed. I wish we had more time to spend here.

Amazing Weekend Getaway

Ken was on site as soon as we arrived and extremely friendly and helpful. The cabin was super clean and comfortable. It was tucked nicely into the woods and close enough to all the attractions. Noah at sight and sound was incredible. There is so much to do and not enough time. We will most definitely be coming back to visit and hope to stay here again! Thank you Ken for a great vrbo and lancaster experience.

Stayed here to visit the Strasburg R.R. The house was beautiful clean and very family friendly. Beautiful neighborhood. Not too far from stores and food but just far enough to enjoy the country.

The nine of us stayed at Ken's place & it was perfect! Lots of room & kids had their own space with numerous things available to keep them entertained. Ken was an absolutely wonderful host, very accommodating & full of great stories! Beautiful area, everything was exceptionally clean. Highly recommend.

Fall mini family getaway

I and my family were very happy with the accommodations that this property offered. Ken and Ruthie were very helpful and extremely nice. My grandchildren enjoyed feeding the horses and the homemade cookies were excellent. Will make this one of our favorite places to stay next time we come to PA.

We loved our stay in a home that we could tell had a lot of pride taken in it. Everything was prepared for our arrival and everything worked perfectly which can’t be said about all places. Equal parts rustic and modern with a lot of charm. We’d love to stay again.

A beautiful place

We recently stayed at Spring Acre log cabin. The pictures on the website didn’t do the place justice. It was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. My husband and I stayed with our adult children and their spouses and we had a wonderful time. Our host, Ken, was extremely accommodating and helpful. We would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful place and hope to visit here again ourselves.

Our family had the privilege of staying in Spring Acre Log Cabin, and we loved it! The home was spotlessly clean, well stocked, and beautiful! The location was perfect for our vacation/family reunion. Mr. Ken and Ms. Ruth are amazing hosts! They welcomed us immediately, and made us feel like they had always known us. Quiet cabin in Amish Country

My family and friends recently stayed at the cabin and had a great time. Plenty of room for 3 families with many options in the house. Owner on site was very helpful and nice! Kids enjoyed feeding the Miniature horses and playing on the property. Satellite TV and no WIFI, Verizon was spotty in the area but we made due; there to get away! Would definitely rent again, was a great experience.

Great property for family trip

Stayed with my husband’s family to celebrate my in law’s 50th wedding anniversary. Children on our trip ranged in ages from 2-16. The property had plenty of space to accommodate everyone and our kids were all entertained by the downstairs game room. I personally appreciated that all the stairs were fitted with built in gates as my 2 year old is very curious and rambunctious! The property is conveniently located near Shady Maple, the Strasburg Railroad, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, and Casey Jones Restaurant. All great, family friendly attractions! Residence was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Exactly as described-perfect for a family get-together!

We loved it! Everything was spotless. Ample space for all of us to eat at the table (plus stools at the kitchen counter), very child-friendly. Enjoyed sitting on porch,kids could play on lawn, Mennonite family next door. Inviting interior with wood beds/dressers and comfortable seating, wall decor. Convenient location near Strasburg, easy parking. If you come Fri nite I recommend picking up food on the way in so you dont have to go out again.

Great time with friends

Very clean and well kept home in a beautiful place. Ken was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him and meeting his ponies Beauty and Patches. The wifi didn’t work for us even after Ken tried to help, but we were on a friends trip for vacation so it wasn’t a big deal.

Great stay for large families

We booked this stay for ourselves, family and friends, because of the close proximity to Sight & Sounds. The house is spacious and beautiful and sits in a beautiful country setting. Ken and Ruthie were wonderful hosts and have thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out or to hang out together. We had a great time playing pool and air hockey, and we also spent alot of time enjoying the large porch. Their ponies are stinkin adorable:) We would definitely stay here again.
