“There is no lobby or face to face check-in, but check-in went as described and smoothly. Room was large, clean, and very nice. A/C worked and shower was good. Bed mattress was good. I stayed two nights and (automatically?) got full maid service both nights! In room refrigerator worked in the beginning but not as cold as I would have liked. Morning of check-out, it appears it may have died. My room was surprising quiet. I never heard or saw another guest (but the place was sold out) and the……

“Vi köpte en billig hotell natt i Alicante för att utforska stan lite närmare. Vil5 har ett utmärkt läge i gamla stan nära till restauranger, barer, museum och hissen som tar dig upp till borgen på berget. VIL5 är obemannat men all service finns i hotellet tvärs över gatan, där sker även incheckning och frukost. Frukost kostade 10.50 euro, den var rätt så standard men helt ok. Frukosten serverades på takvåningen med en fin utsikt över borgen och stan. Ute terrassen var inte öppen under frukosten……

“Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Zimmer , die Betten super bequem , wenn man mochte konnte man sich 24h vorher Frühstück aufs Zimmer buchen. Oben im letzten Stock gab es noch einen schönen sauberen Pool, indem man sich erfrischen konnte, auch Liegen standen zum Sonnen bereit. Das Hotel liegt ruhig weiter oben außerhalb des Tourismus. Der Strand war gut in 23 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Richtig super ist auch: Das Hotel bietet einen Shuttle an, den wir gerne genutzt……

“Dette er fjerde gangen vi bor på dette hotellet. Store romslige rom. Det ligger midt i sentrum, kort vei til en rekke restauranter som Krug El Portal og Nou Manolin, våre favoritter. Vi sitter alltid på taket og tar noen gode drinker. Personalet er dyktige og veldig hyggelige. Vi får alltid champagne ved innsjekk. Vi kommer selvfølgelig tilbake! ”

“We arrived early, but had a very friendly greeting and were allowed to check in early as our room was ready. The hostal is set in a very convenient spot in the city, very close to the beach, castle and museums, and with plenty of dining options. The room was bright, clean and well equipped. Check in instructions could be more clear, but would definitely recommend. Tip: a door code is emailed ahead of arrival, but you need to remember the # key after the number. The code will not work until 3pm……

“The apartment itself was absolutely brilliant. Lovely and clean, everything you could possibly need. No dishwasher just for info but there is a washing machine. A great view over the city. There are a few restaurants and coffee shops close by too which were good. There are a huge amount of steps upto the apartment we were in though. 52 to be precise and they are of varying depths and the first staircase is quite narrow which was a challe ge with a 20kg case.
