So stopped & asked for directions (2ce -first stop clueless). A very nice woman was filling in for the motel manager who was assisting the clerk at the gas station next to it, owed by the same co. The room was dim with only the ceiling light on so I turned on both wall sconces. The room is not bright with the color 'blocking" walls;……

“The layout of the room was not the standard motel room. It has half walls separating the sink area from the “living” area. The bathroom sink counter was super spacious, which I loved, and there was a built-in bench beneath the open clothes rack that was very handy for holding suitcases. “They didn't honor my paid reservation saying that Expedia had cancelled all reservations (and not told those of us holding said reservations, which means that the motel itself should have let us know ahead of time, as they apparently knew already) for that night (which was the night before the annular eclipse) and made me pay $106 to have a room that night, which is reprehensible in the extreme.
