“The Green Elephant is stunning. Conveniently located (if you have transport) for getting around Lilongwe but not directly in the middle. The staff are relaxed, friendly and professional and helped every day. They made me special vegetarian options on request, and let me help myself to other foods. The furnishings are top notch. There is lots of shared space around the place, and the only distractions are the noisy birds in the morning! Amazing hotel. If I could want for one thing, it would be……

“I greatly enjoyed my time at the Residence for many reasons. Chawa picked me up from the airport. The fee to get into town was less than half the posted charge for taxis. Breakfast each day was both enormous and tasty. Dinner was likewise excellent. The bed was comfortable, which gave me long, deep sleeping. Chawa arranged tours of the town, and also to see the Chongoni Rock Art (a UNESCO site I wanted to visit). He could also arrange a trip to Lake Malawi and the beach. I feel certain they……
