“Great location. Really close to the ski lifts - we could just walk out of the ski locker room and step onto the slope that leads down to the lifts. Nice restaurant with local food - large open fire, local free ski shuttle right outside the door (daily operating - except saturday - with hourly up and down trips) I rented a locker at Montalbert Intersport where I hired skis - Longefoy (pron.“Longshfoi”) is a steep but short walk 35 mins up 25 down to Montalbert base so you dint necessarily need to rely on the bus. “Check in procedure was diabolical. No clear signs, no clear idea what building to check into. People milling about with absolutely no idea where to go. We walked (no mean feat in the mountains) to one building as there were no signs on the building the email directed us to, and luckily, they found our booking, but we were at the wrong hotel. “A wonderful location and on the whole a well thought out residence. We were in the Emerald block - which is the furthest from reception… but still has easy in and out access and gets the sun on the generous balcony from about 2.30 - for those seeking alternative relaxation to the snow. The spa facilities are excellent, as you would expect from a residence which is only a couple of years old. Apartment is very well equipped - even down to the things that us Brits often find are missing from……
