“Booked a studio apartment last minute for 3 nights. Smart hotel, good security. Very friendly staff. Lovely pools as well as an indoor pool. Comfortable outdoor area. Spacious well equipped room, we did end up in a disabled room despite full fitness! Did feel if you were disabled there was only a shower over the bath which was quite high to get into, not a problem for us though. Had a nice meal in the lovely restaurant. Good parking. ”

“This property is well worth a visit , very quiet and well looked after . A few bars and restaurants within a 5 - 10 mins walk. We did not have a car but easily used Uber into Albufeira and only paid approx 5 euros. Would definately stay here again especially early and late in season as its lovely and peaceful .”

“Placid Village was a very positive surprise for us. Too bad we stayed only for one night. It was very quiet and the surroundings had a southern flair. “Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”
