Just back from Koh Yao Yai and wow, what a chill spot! This resort is the definition of peaceful – right on a gorgeous beach, and it's so quiet you can hear the waves all day. Everything was super clean and comfy, making it easy to just relax and enjoy the views. The staff deserves a shoutout too. They were always there to help out, super friendly and knew the area inside out. Made my stay smooth and fun. If you're looking for a getaway that's all about unwinding and getting away from it all, this is your place. Can't wait to go back

Very nice experience

We spent a very nice experience in elixir Resort. The private beach is fabulous (and very clean) ! Bungalow, pool, restaurant, all is so nice! Thanks to all the charmant people we have met. Just be conscious that the resort is on the opposite of the main pier at the north of the island, 35min/500bt taxi. Can't swim on low tide. For boat excursions, prefer buy cheaper on some restaurants at 5min walking.

Best option in Koh Yao Yai

We stayed 8 nights in late January 2025 and It was a very pleasant stay.We visited the property many times to eat there in 2022 during our stay at another hotel,then decided to come back some day and we finally did it.Private transfer form Phuket airport can be arranged. Our Luxury villa N. 175 located at the last row but with a decent sea view was comfortable and well appointed with an outdoor shower and a big balcony.No bed frame since the mattress was placed directly over an slightly elevated floor where getting out of it could be sometimes a bit challenging.The breakfast is very good with different asian and western options every day,also the food offered during lunch and dinner is very good with all meals served by the sea.The beach is nice,among the best if not the best of the island,specially the northern part, the ambiance is calmed and relaxed surrounded by trees and gardens.Decent gym with two perfectly working treadmills.The staff is very nice and attentive.I did not give a five star review due to a some maintenance issues noticed and the use of plastic bottled water,straws.Surely we will comeback.

We liked: 1.) The personnel: the manager was great and authentic, the reception desk service with Honey and May was great and sincere, the bar and restaurant staff were nice, the spa staff was also great and very friendly 2.) The view: beautiful beach and ocean view from the restaurant and bar, unfortunately not from the bungalow 3.) The food: we ate twice at the restaurant (Thai dishes) and they were all great, especially the lobster. Alternatively there were 3 other restaurants close by, two of which also had great food. We didn't try the third one. 4.) The service and activities: we did the Phi Phi Islands tour with the Longtail boat with Mr. Nut and Mr. Sing, which was wonderful, the visit to the elephant care was also a great experience, the scooter rental was just next door and was very easy going 5.) Arrival and Departure Transfer Service: we were greatly supported traveling from Phuket International Airport to the Elixir Resort and back. Even traveling through the night wasn't a problem. We are very happy we have chosen the right hotel for us to stay at on the island. It was wonderful. Thank you very much and we are hoping to come back again. At the beginning there was some confusion about an open balcony door after cleaning; however, this was treated professionally and it didn't happen again.

A wonderful oasis of calm. Very welcoming staff nothing was too much trouble and delicious food both Thai and western were cooked to perfection The rooms were light and spacious and immaculately clean. And you are right on a private beach with no one trying to sell you anything I look forward to returning.

7 of us stayed at Elixir. We had an fabulous time. The resort was quiet, safe and very relaxing. We enjoyed massages, the restaurant and learning to ride scooters to explore the island. I would recommend Elixir to anyone wanting a relaxing Thai holiday, mostly untouched by tourists unlike other islands. All the staff were very accomodating, especially reception and food and beverage staff who assisted with my partners dietary restrictions.

We've travelled a lot, and this is our favourite place. The room (beachfront private pool) is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and the pool and ocean view are incredible. Not to mention the lovely outdoor bathroom. Food and drinks at the resort restaurant are tasty and reasonably priced, the massage service is great, and staff are super friendly and helpful. They booked 2 tours for us during our stay, and they customised the tours per our request so they were exactly what we wanted. This was our second stay here (first time was 2015) and we will definitely be back again!

The property is absolutely beautiful! We were welcomed with a cold cloth and small drink by friendly staff. We were upgraded to a beachfront pool villa and the views were absolutely stunning! Somehow the property looks very open, but the pool itself feels private. We had an early (530 am) checkout and the staff came and picked us up in a golf cart directly to the checkout desk where we were handed two boxed breakfasts for our travels. The food at the resort was fantastic. Everything tasted very fresh.

Amazing

Amazing as always. This was our third trip, and each time is better than the last. They have made nice upgrades during COVID, and the staff was incredibly warm and helpful. Such a peaceful and relaxing place. It's always quiet even when at capacity, and makes it feel like a private island. Loved the food, massages, rooms. Beach was cleared every morning and the water was perfect at high tide. Would always recommend.

We booked a regular villa and as a surprise upon arrival, they just gave us a seafront pool villa. We stayed for four nights and enjoyed every minute of it. It was very calm, also you mostly had the whole beach to yourself. Just up the rod you can rent a scooter for around 250 baht per day and explore the island. There are monkeys living around the resort and the whole island is just way less touristy than for example Koh phi phi. The staff was really friendly, the food was very good and the place is just amazing.

A perfect oasis!

Elixir is quite amazing! I feel so grateful to have stumbled upon such a gem of a place. It was so peaceful and serene! The beach was beautiful and spotless, the restaurant excellent and fairly priced, the staff helpful and kind. The outdoor shower was amazing and the rain showerhead actually had pressure!! The mattress in the room was too firm for my taste so I had trouble sleeping, and I found it uncomfortable to have to climb into the bed as it is on a raised floor. It looks romantic but wasn’t that practical. But that is the only thing I wasn’t a fan of - everything else was perfect! The island is primitive but the people are so beautiful and sweet! The resort is an oasis. If I ever come back I will splurge on a villa with a private pool - they looked amazing and private!

Das Hotel war ok. Wir hatten einen Bungalow mit privat Pool war natürlich toll! Das Essen im Hotel war generell sehr gut auch vom Preis voll ok! Nur das Personal ist eher unmotiviert und steht meist herum, dass kenne ich so von Thailand überhaupt nicht. Frühstück war sehr minimalistisch, da wir aber in Summe nur 3 Tage waren war’s ok. Meer ist schön aber man kann nur 4-6 Stunden am Tag zu bestimmten Zeiten schwimmen wegen der Flut und Ebbe. In Summe ein nettes Hotel mit viel Luft nach oben, wäre schon ein kleines Paradies wenn man mehr draus macht.

Só não dei 5 estrelas pelo fato de o quarto não ter um bom isolamento acústico e tampouco telefone para falar com a recepção, visto que em nossa última noite precisávamos acordar muito cedo, o que foi impossível devido a algumas pessoas gritando ao lado, estava chovendo e sem telefone, não pude fazer nada, ainda que pararam de conversar depois da meia noite! Fora isso uma experiência sensacional.

Para tener paz tranquilidad apreciciar el mar el.viento es perfecto pedimos 2 habitaciones con picina frente al mas y fue genial mi hija disfruto su picina privada y nos metiamos en el.dia al mar que era como una picina el.timepo estaba bien lluvia y fresquito el.hotel en si era traquilo y muy familiar los precios estaban bien no cobraban impuestos por comer ni nada era el.precio.que estaba en el.menu el.perosnal muy amable en si pasamos 2 noches en paz y relajo
