"Very pleased I picked The New Inn to stay. It’s a proper country pub with its own brewery in a proper country setting. As you can imagine the beer was excellent, and the food first class. The room was lovely, clean, and airy with a comfortable bed. Will definitely stay again as we still have much to see in the surrounding areas, and I couldn’t ask for s better base to do this."
"What a lovely gem of a place. Situated in the heart of the north Yorkshire Moors. Amazing views over the valley.
Staff were very friendly and the food was lovely. The only criticism I could make was that the floorboards were creaky, but that’s because the property is 300 years old and has real character.
Highly recommended."
"What’s not to love? This place is an absolute gem. The rooms are immaculate, each with its own unique character, and it was so peaceful and relaxing throughout our stay.
The staff in the pub couldn’t do enough for us, proper old-fashioned customer service at its best. Everyone we spoke to was genuinely friendly, welcoming and happy to help.
The food was exceptional. We had both an evening meal and the included breakfast, and everything was freshly cooked to order and absolutely delicious. The desserts are worth saving room for too!
With stunning walks nearby, it’s the perfect place for a relaxing break. We’ll definitely be back."
"The breakfasts and evening meals were fantastic. The staff Cal and Becky were so welcoming and lovely people.
We went as strangers and left as friends. We didn't use the bar as we don't drink, but it was well stocked.
The whole place was spotless."
