Newton-on-Rawcliffe is a small and peaceful village with a friendly pub just a short walk from The Hide. Pickering is just five minutes’ drive away and offers a range of shops, pubs, restaurants, and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Other attractions nearby include Dalby Forest (30 mins), Scarborough (40 mins), and Whitby or York (45 mins).
A car is essential as there are no local transport options. On-site parking is available.

Booking Policy
- Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file.
- If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled.
- Early payment is allowed (card fees up to 3% are non-refundable if cancelled).
Cancellation Policy
- Full refund if cancelled 30+ days before arrival.
- 50% refund if cancelled 14–30 days before arrival.
- No refund if cancelled within 14 days of arrival.
