Hemingway restaurant is a great spot for all meals. The bikes were a bit disappointing; older and not in great shape but we took them to town as they were rideable. Overall we had a great time.”

“Great stay at the Retreat. It embraces the name! The concierge was very friendly and gave us excellent recommendations for water excursions and local restaurants. Our room was very spacious and everything in it felt brand new. I especially liked that the bathroom has separate wet and dry areas, and the memory foam mattress was very comfortable. The room was spotless. Housekeeping came twice a day, including an evening turndown to get the room ready for sleeping. I used the pool, hot tub, and……

“Front desk staff is rude. Property wasn't busy but they still made everyone wait until 4:00 to get rooms. Happened every day and since they send out the email before arrival confirming when flights are arriving, that should have been better planned out. Food on property is expensive and service charges are added, so watch out for that. Rooms were nice, but beds feel like blow up mattresses and weren't very comfortable.”

“This hotel was amazing. It’s directly on the beach so the views and atmosphere are outstanding. It has everything you need right on the property including a restaurant /bar and a coffee shop. The barracuda bar served delicious food and drinks. Clifford’s coffee shop serves an excellent cup of coffee. (Ask the staff about why the coffee shop is named Clifford’s it’s an amazing story) The staff were the best part of our stay, they were welcoming, friendly, and catered to our every need with a……
