"Wonderful hotel set in an ancient mansion. Staff were helpful and friendly and focused on improving the guest experience. Wonderful breakfast whether you ordered Western or Chinese. We ate the special set menu dinner. Definitely the best restaurant in Pingyao. Staff had a proficient level of English which enabled us to have a better experience visiting the historical sights in the walled city. Our two night stay was a five star experience."

"Great location. Just past the main tourist walking street in Pingyao and it is accessible by licensed vehicles. The owner arranged a free pick up from the regular train station. Location is excellent. We also got upgraded to a better room with a larger bath. Room is very clean, bed is very comfy and owner is super nice explaining all the attractions, tours and shows patiently. "Free pickup and drop-off from the high speed rail station. Hotel is pretty quiet inside considering it's on a very busy street outside. Super convenient location to see everything in Pingyao.
