Didn't like the location adn breakfast quality is poor! On the other side, Staff were amazing 10 points. Same at the bar same at the gugine restaurant. Nice cocktails, pasta and good vibes staff..

Far better area than Chania. Less crowded and nice access to water events. Great local restaurants. Was quite touristy, but that was not a hindrance. The hotel made the trip.

I didn’t love Platanias - very built up and touristy. Nothing particularly interesting to see or do here, although there are some decent restaurants. With a rental car (a must), you can easily explore Elafonisi Beach and the charming town of Chania.

The area is quit, street is not live as in other parts of crete. The area is better for family trip, not for going out at night
