"We had a little bit of confusion on arrival as we were supposed to have had a phone call by the agents (not the owner) to tell us the arrival protocol which didn't happen unfortunately, but that was quickly resolved and we were in the property very smoothly considering. The village is small, there is (as noted before) no shops there, the nearest convenience is in Down Thomas which is a mile+ walk/drive up the steep hill and along narrow road, or a Co-Op around 15mins drive away, there is a bar...

"AS I SAID GREAT LOCATION IN BARBICAN AREA SO NO NEED TO GO AND FIND ENTERTAINMENT/FOOD ALL THERE. COTTAGE WAS CLEAN ECT. STAIRS ALRIGHT AFTER WE GOT USED TO THEM. (STEEP/SMALL STEPS AT BOTTOM OF STAIRWAYS ) SHOWER AND TOILET SMALL TOILET LID NEEDS FIXING . (JANE ) GREAT STAY WOULD AND MAY REBOOK"

"Great location for exploring the area, beautiful views - imagine would be even better in summer. Nice accommodation, fairly well equipped, but showers and heating could be better (couldn’t use the fire as no fire guard - we have dogs)."

"Lovely cottage, the owner reached out prior amd asked us about cot / highchair and then advised the best way to get there as the lanes arent great however nice and easy to find! Cottahe was immaculate! Everything within driving distance. We took our 2yr old daughter, plenty of space for her to run around and plenty of room to set up cot in either spare room, master room was lovely and spacious, wouldnt hesitate to go there again!"

"I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "
