“The check in is was easy.... The receptionist was so helpful and the parking was easy also. The room was a typical English B&B, small but roomy enough for the 2 of us. The shower was fantastic.... The breakfast was all that you need to start the day. Overall a great stay”

“Rooms are lovely within spacious peaceful grounds and was given an upgrade as hotel wasn't full. Check in is at the restaurant, which staff should remember is doing double duty as hotel check in. Breakfast was mediocre and burnt toast was served - shouldn't even have left the kitchen. Subsequently skipped the included breakfast for Elvira's which was much better. Had issues trying to store luggage in COVID times with one staff member happy to accept on early arrival, but another refusing on……

“Excellent family run hotel close to Plymouth Hoe, local restaurants and amenities. Friends welcome and excellent breakfast. Only negative was the £10.00 per night parking charge, which I raised with the reception on check-in. I later discovered street parking outside at £2.50 per night.”
