“The only let down was the evening meal.....very medioca”

“A lovely old property(150 years old) where they have kept some of the original features. I think it is due for an update in a few years but I hope they keep some of the original features. We stayed in the Coastguard cottages which were excellent but connected to the hotel with a covered walkway. The staff were excellent and very obliging. The evening meals were excellent although breakfasts were typical large hotel buffet style.i would still recommend it though.”

“all staff superb, 100% staff satisfaction , hotel more a 3 star skimp and saving lets it down , the pool is so small it would be called a plunge pool in Europe, towels were the same size as our hand towels we have at home , room refurbished ,then an old bed let it down, food was excellent and if you just need a place to crash out then it will do”

“You will hear the sound of wood platform while other guess walking around. This ok to me as I live in a lousy place. It would be a problem for those request absolute quiet.”

“it is a very old hotel with old facility at the price, small room - can't even open my suitcase on the floor, very old facility in the hotel and in the room, old wood window that has a big gap that is very noisy when hit by the wind (I had to put a towel in the middle of the night between the gap to stop the noise) bathroom very old, faucet very difficult to use, Parking very expensive ”
