“Excellent location in old Funchal. Very close to Harbor front and to museums, shops, services. Although there are no staff on site, check in was smooth, and we felt secure with the locked doors we had to go through to keep residents safe. “Maybe our fault but when traveling afar things need to be absolutely transparent, clear and easy. We arrived at location (paid to get there) only to be dropped off and find out had to walk 1/2 mile to another building just to get a code to get in building. Get to alternate location only to find out there are more fees/taxes to pay - all fees should be posted when booking a location. Otherwise just know there is some street noise but good location, clean and safe. ”
