“Such a privilege to stay in this beautiful casa on the beach. It was quiet, private and peaceful. Kitchen had everything you need. The beach was well maintained and you can snorkel right from the shore. We used the kayaks to get to the reef to snorkel. Magical time!”

“The space was ample. The best part about it is the screened in kitchen and dining area. The beach is not far and there are grocery stores and vegetable shops a minute away. We had a bumpy start which was resolved only after 21/2 hours on the phone with VRBO. The owner charged us for an extra night. This caused confusion and inconvenience to our host who was led to believe that we were arriving a day earlier than we had agreed upon. Additionally, the owner miscalculated the overall cost and did……

“Great family time with no distractions. Owner's communication was great. We had one issue that was resolved with 24 hours of sending the owner an email. Luis, the caretaker, and his wife were wonderful. They were really helpful, and we enjoyed meeting them and their son. Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle, but very reliable Wi-Fi to stay in touch as desired.”

“I really liked the house and the property. The house is very well built and well appointed. The caretaker Ricardo is very helpful and friendly. Great views, safe area, nice breeze, and nice area to lounge or play in the sand with our little one. It's a quiet location a bit far from town which can be nice but it does take a while to get to the house from town or the main highway (about 30-40 mins). The only downside and this is not the owner's or caretaker's fault is all the trash that washes up……

“This property is very clean and spacious. The ocean view from the patio is breathtaking. Easily accommodated party of 5. Easy checkin. Quiet surroundings. Great communication with Host. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Things to note: Large clean pool. Two person kayak available for use. Location is very remote, on the opposite side of their beach and restaurants area (about a 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk along the beach). Beds are hard. There's a "hot tub" with jets, but……

“Over all it was just okay, we went without hot water last day of our stay, had to text in order to communicate with care taker, house was not up to what was presented to us. Have stayed many times in Mahahual and this was the worst experience. ”
