“While Roberto was prompt at responding to our needs and requests, the property was quite misrepresented. The 3 reviews on VRBO gave glowing reports of the casa and that was not what we found. It is sorely neglected and needs some love and attention. The living room and kitchen were okay with a couple of nice art pieces but the bathroom is terrible and the bedrooms pretty substandard for what we paid and the reviews that were given to prompt us to book. The yard is unkempt and does not look like……

“We had such a wonderful stay here - great living area (comfy couches and smart TV) and kitchen with big table. Lots of natural light throughout the whole place. Cute and quiet neighborhood - about 10 min walk into town but even faster if you rent mopeds. Host was very responsive and helpful! We were working remotely and the setup was great - desks and AC in every room and very sturdy WiFi.”

The house is just as in the pictures and they even have a welcome binder to help you get around. Ariel was a great with communication and is a great host. This home is great for big families and group of friends. All the bedrooms have AC and full restrooms so it’s perfect and don’t have to share baths or toilets. “The perfect location in Puerto Escondido. We stayed in the Areca cabin for one month. From the moment we arrived everything was fantastic. The location was excellent, a few minute walk to the beach and restaurants yet far enough away to have a restful quiet holiday. The cabins are basic but everything you need for long term. Nice pool, grounds well laid out for privacy between cabins, air conditioning, hot water. Great bed, huge bathroom, very secure. The owners Venancio and Erin are friendly……

“We loved the house. Rocio and her staff did an excellent job for us. Centrally located, so there’s fun in either direction. It is located near a club so if there is a special event it can be loud throughout the night. This happened once but it was worth making it work. Great place.”

“We visited Casa Pelicano with my little family of 3 which included my 9 year old daughter. From the beginning communication with the host was great! Every question was answered and clear instructions were given for check-in etc. The property itself is great. Walking distance to Playa Carazalillo - beautiful beach with a beach club where you can rent beach beds and get food and drinks. Also walking distance to Rinconada’s restaurants and shops.
