“This property was advertised as an “entire home,” but it was not an entire private home. The house is divided into multiple sections with other people living in the front section of the house, and another bedroom in the back being used as a rental unit.Prior to check-in, the host sent us the access code through the Vrbo chat. However, the host did not disclose in writing that the code was specifically for the back unit of a shared property. Instead, after arrival, the host called us and……

“Cindy is a really wonderful host and was so helpful. Even before we arrived she contacted me to make sure I could find the property. She even gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy a long with many excellent restaurant and winery recommendations. The home itself is very cozy with a beautiful view of the lake. Fireplace is warm. Kitchen is large with all the cookware needed. Walmart is 5 minutes away for any supplies. Watkins Glen hike was made so much better by staying here. Highly recommended.”

“The only issue we really had was due to technology. I had never received the email with the entry instructions (it was sent I just never got it for some reason), so when we arrived to the house at 8pm we could not get in. The hosts were out of town in a different time zone so it took some time to get ahold of them which was scary in the moment but no one’s fault and the host were very kind with helping us get in.
